In this experiential training, participants will explore integrating landscapes —summits and air, forest and fire, sea and water, and cave and earth—into therapeutic processes that foster relaxation, renewal, and sustainable growth. Special emphasis is placed on trauma-informed practices, ensuring sensitivity to the needs and experiences of individuals navigating the complexities of trauma.
By engaging with the unique natural features of La Palma, this module not only imparts essential therapeutic skills but also creates a space for practitioners to experience personal renewal and inspiration, mirroring the transformative power they aim to facilitate in their clients.

This training module immerses participants in the unique landscapes of La Palma, one of the seven Canary Islands, recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. With over 1,000 km of ancient goat trails and a wide variety of natural environments, La Palma offers an inspiring backdrop for developing and refining Adventure and Nature Therapy skills.
Our collaboration partner, SISPA, specializes in supporting individuals navigating significant trauma, including army families, couples, and individuals. They work with multidisciplinary teams using Systemic Adventure and Nature Therapy (Systemische Erlebnis- & Naturtherapie) and trauma-informed practice. This location has served as the setting for these SISPA's "Time-Out Travels" programs (Aus-Zeit-Reisen) for more than 10 years.
