Legacy Music Academy

You have been making music for years, and now it is time to build a real career from it!!

You know your music is good, you have the songs, you have the passion, and you have probably spent more time than you would like to admit trying to figure out why none of it is quite adding up into something that feels like a real, moving career. The answer is almost never the talent per se. It is almost always the missing framework: a clear picture of who you are as an artist, who your music is actually for, and what to do next in a way that genuinely moves things forward rather than just keeping you busy.

That is exactly what the Legacy Music Academy gives you. In 16 weeks, you go from feeling stuck and scattered to having a clear artist identity, a real release strategy, music that is actually out in the world, and a community of musicians who are building something at the same time as you. This academy gives you the right musicians to work with, plus the structure and framework to build something together.

What you will build over the 16 weeks

The first four weeks are entirely about who you are. Your Why, your Ikigai, your artist identity, your USP, your archetype, your color palette, your visual world, your logo, your stage outfit, and the one specific person your music is for. This is the foundation everything else is built on, and it is the phase most music programs skip entirely, which is exactly why most music programs don't produce lasting results.

Weeks five through eight are about the music business. How distribution actually works, how to set up your streaming profiles properly, how to register with the right performing rights organizations, how cover licensing and sync licensing work, how to record a demo, what stems are and why you need them, and how to organize your files so you can always find what you need. This phase also includes three exclusive guest videos from Marc Whitmore, CEO of MWO Management, who has personally managed Alice Cooper, Madonna, Willie Nelson, Matthew McConaughey, and Brad Paisley. Marc speaks directly to students about what a music manager actually looks for, what the industry looks like from the inside, and what career-ready really means.

Weeks nine through twelve are about content, social media, and audience building. Getting genuinely comfortable on camera, understanding your target groups, learning the difference between content that grows your audience and content that keeps them, and building a social media strategy that actually fits your music and your identity rather than a generic template borrowed from someone else's business.

The final four weeks are about releasing music and taking the stage. Your release roadmap, your Spotify pitching, your distribution setup, and your first real release, out in the world before graduation. Your setlist, your two show concepts that a booker can actually choose between, your stage presence toolkit, and an exclusive video from certified vocal coach Yvonne Gundacker on vocal health and technique.

What is included

Every week has video lessons delivered by Christina on camera, detailed workbooks with questions that produce real outputs rather than just reflections, and homework that connects directly to what you are building. You also get weekly live group calls with Christina, a private Skool community where students support each other throughout the full 16 weeks, a Trello board system for managing your career from day one, three exclusive guest videos from Marc Whitmore of MWO Management, one exclusive vocal health and technique video from certified vocal coach Yvonne Gundacker, and lifetime access to all content once enrolled.

Who this is for

This academy is for the independent musician who has been making music seriously for a while and feels the pull toward something more, more clarity, more momentum, more of a real career rather than a hope that it will somehow work out. It is for the musician who knows their music is good but cannot clearly explain who it is for. Who has tried posting consistently but has no real strategy behind it. Who is afraid to charge for their work or does not know what to charge. Who has been waiting to feel ready before releasing anything and is starting to realize that feeling is never going to arrive on its own.

This is not for musicians looking for a shortcut. It is for musicians who are willing to do real work over 16 weeks and come out the other side with something genuinely built.

Who is Christina Baur?

Christina is an international artist manager, coach, and the founder of Be Your Own Star. She has spent over ten years working in the music industry across Munich, London, and Los Angeles, has coached more than 200 musicians, and currently works as an active manager at MWO Management. She has spoken at APAP, been featured on Bayerischer Rundfunk, and served as a coach and judge at Tour Music Fest in Italy. She built this academy because she believes that talent deserves a real shot, not a lucky break, not a label deal, but a proper framework, real industry knowledge, and real people around you who are building something at the same time.

A few questions you might be sitting with

If you are not sure whether you are at the right stage, if you have been making music seriously and you have songs to work with, you are ready. The academy does not require a large following, a label deal, or a release history. It requires a genuine commitment to showing up for 16 weeks.

If you have a day job and limited time, the academy is designed to work alongside real life. Four to eight hours per week is enough, and the students who get the most out of it aren't the ones with the most time, but the ones who protect whatever time they have and treat it seriously.

If you have taken courses before and wonder how this is different, most music programs start with strategy and skip the identity work entirely. This one starts with identity, because a strategy built on a vague sense of who you are will never produce the right results. By the time you reach the strategy content, you know exactly who you are and who your music is for, which means every decision you make from that point actually lands.

This course is made by music managers who test the music scene and see the industry every day with many musicians. It's not one strategy from one musician; it's a strategy that works in the industry and how we have built up multiple musicians before.

You have been making music, and now it is time to build the career around it.

I built this academy over 3 years because I believe that talent deserves a real shot, not overnight success, not luck, but a real framework, real knowledge, and real people around you who are building something at the same time.

The next 16 weeks can change everything for you. You can finally live your dream, make music that people care about, and have a proper business set up. I hope to see you inside!!! :)

xoxo Christina
