On arrival at Windhoek International Airport, you will be met by a representative and your Namibian adventure begins. The drive is only about 40 minutes from the international airport and offers spectacular landscapes, plus a chance to see baboons, giraffes, zebras or antelope on the way…
Wake up in one of the “Savanna Rooms” that are equipped with sweeping panoramic views. Glimpse Namibia’s wildlife from your private outdoor terrace. The place to retreat whenever you feel you need some quiet “alone time”.

This "Breath Safari for Body, Mind and Soul" retreat will be hosted by two passionate breath and wellbeing experts, Silke and Sonni, who will guide you through this progressive program of different science-based breathing protocols, conscious-movement, and open awareness to cultivate vital force of a healthy bodymind.
As long term practitioners each of us has wealth of know-how to offer and we will weave our specialities seamlessly together into a wholesome flow and unique retreat experience. Upon request we will incorporate one-on-one sessions tailored to your wellbeing goals and personal aspirations.
Through the transmission of these transformative training tools for formal practice and daily life, may we all come to embody the calm, clear and creative potential of our inner beings' natural state.

Our Habitas' culinary team specializes in preparing nutritious, gourmet meals that cater to various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and any allergies. All dishes feature local ingredients paired with globally inspired flavors. Please inform the lodge in advance so we can accommodate your dietary preferences.
Our retreat provides a highly exclusive and profound breath safari experience. With only 11 luxury safari tents on site, the group size is limited to 22 participants. This ensures individual attention and an intimate atmosphere. You deserve this!
Each day begins with an optional sunrise yoga or meditation session followed by a healthy breakfast. Morning activities might include silent bush walks or game drives on open safari vehicles for wildlife viewing, followed by breathwork or flexibility classes. We will make sure you have free time in the afternoon for relaxation or optional activities like wellness treatments. Evenings conclude with restorative breathwork sessions, dance, or deep dive meditations before dining under the stars.

You can extend your stay at Our Habitas upon the availability of the lodge. Please speak to the reservations team directly. We are happy to recommend a trusted and specialized tour operator who will assist you in planning and customizing an individual onward journey. Please contact silke@breathq.academy - she knows all about it.
We recommend bringing comfortable breathable yoga clothing such as leggings, shorts, and loose tops for comfort during sessions. Bring a light sweater or shawl for early mornings and evenings, as temperatures can drop. We advise bringing a reusable water bottle and your favorite yoga mat. Good sunglasses are non-negotiable on sunlit days, sunscreen (please use the highest protection of sunblock 50 plus), sturdy walking shoes (sneakers and/or boots), lip balm, hydrating face and body cream - and most important: an open mind.
The retreat starts on 18th October in the morning and finishes on 23rd October around 6 p.m. We will decide on the schedule when the participants share their arrival and departure times and will notify you on our WhatsApp group created for this retreat.
On 18th October, check-in time is 2 p.m. Once you have settled into your tent, we will meet for a "Welcome Circle" in the afternoon around 4 - 5 p.m. (depending on the arrival times) and have dinner under the stars.
On the last day, 24th October we will have breakfast together around 9 - 10 a.m. and then have to say goodbye. Check-out is at 11 a.m. or earlier if that's better for you🙂.
Our Habitas is located in the Khomas Hochland region, close to Windhoek which is a malaria-free zone but we recommend that you consult the CDC's traveler's health pages or your healthcare provider, who can offer guidance based on your specific travel itinerary and health profile.
