This observational study on the application of LLLT in chronic wounds was conducted in 2009 to 2010 at the Wound Competence Center of the Schwabing Clinic, Academic Teaching Hospital of Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, Germany. 60 patients with chronic wounds (diabetic foot ulcer, ulcus cruris, etc.) were treated with laser therapy and the course of treatment documented. In this summary 3 cases ( severity cases with recommendation of an amputation) and their successful treatment are published in detail.
