Q: What are Lightroom-Presets?

A: Lightroom is a Software / App for editing photos. Lightroom-Presets are filters which give your photos a certain look with just a few clicks. Normally it takes some time to edit photos in Lightroom, as you have to make many individual settings before you get the perfect result. Presets simplify the editing of your photos enormously, as they make all these small settings automatically. So you will get a uniform look to all photos you edit with the Preset!

Q: Do I need a paid subscription for Adobe Lightroom to be able to use the Presets?

A: Lightroom has 2 versions: One for desktop and one for mobile devices. The mobile version can be downloaded completely FREE. It’s perfect for quick and easy edits and we love to use it on the go. For the desktop version you need a monthly or annual paid subscription. This version has more options, so we use it mainly when we need to edit photos very precisely for customer orders.

Q: I never used Lightroom before, is it difficult to use?

A: Lightroom is a Software that is also used by professional photographers, so the range of functions can be a bit overwhelming at first. But our Presets will help you to edit your photos with just a few clicks and so it is not necessary to study every little function.

Our Presets also offer you a great starting point, if you want to get more into photo editing. Because a good Preset helps you to get better quickly.

Q: Where can I download the Presets and how do I import them into Lightroom after downloading?

A: On the left side of the menu bar, you will find a detailed step-by-step instruction for installing the Presets in Lightroom on the respective download page.

Q: I've tried to install the Presets in Lightroom but it doesn't work, what should I do?

A: In most cases, the problem can be solved by downloading the latest version of Lightroom.

Q: Do I need a professional camera to use the Presets?

A: Absolutely not! We've tested our Presets on professional cameras as well as iPhone photos and they work perfectly for both. Professional cameras shoot in higher quality and in the so-called RAW format, which means that the images contain more information and are easier to edit. If you shoot with your camera, we recommend shooting in RAW to get the best possible results.

Q: Do the Presets work on every photo?

A: Each photo is individual. But we have created several variations, so one of the Presets should always work! However, a successful, well exposed image is of course always the prerequisite for the use of Presets.
