Yoga Nidra 2 Teacher Training

The Yoga Nidra 2 course focuses on using the practice as a map for profound inner transformation by aligning it with the teachings of the Bardo Thodol (The Tibetan Book of the Dead). The practices explore the symbolic and psychological wisdom of the Bardos—the intermediate states of consciousness—to facilitate deeper states of letting go, profound change, and heightened awareness. Key thematic areas include:

  1. Death and Transitions (Bardo Thodol): The practices are mapped onto the three main Bardos: the Chikhai Bardo (symbolizing the conscious surrender of the ego and physical identification), the Chönyi Bardo (the recognition of illusions and the dawning of clear light), and the Sidpa Bardo (the transformation of karmic patterns for a new, liberated way of being).

  2. Transforming Inner Demons (Chöd): Integrating the teachings of the Tibetan nuns of transforming the inner demons (shadow aspects) the course teaches practitioners not to fight but to consciously acknowledge and dissolve deep-seated emotional blocks and fears by offering them focused attention, leading to transcendence of attachment.

  3. The Void and Luminosity: Advanced segments focus on exploring the nature of the mind in its essential state, aiming to experience the Void (Śūnyatā) and Luminosity—the pure, spacious potential of consciousness that exists beyond thought and form.
