EFH-Effort, Force & Heaviness EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP MUNICH 2025
How to Increase Load Capacity by Manipulating the Proprioceptive Senses of Effort, Force, and Heaviness – a Training System for Athletes, Fitness, and Rehabilitation Populations.
A cutting-edge workshop by Strength expert, Guido van Ryssegem
Often ignored, the senses of effort, force, and heaviness have been traditionally part of proprioception.
These senses describe what we feel while performing physical tasks, from picking up a grocery bag to moving a laden object.
Until recently, prevailing views about the origin of the senses of effort, force, and heaviness were dominated by the belief that they were generated exclusively within the brain. However, recent research has shown that peripheral afferent activity augments these senses, resulting in significantly improved performance.
Practical applications will be presented.
