The NIS-2 Directive is an internal set of rules for information security in accordance with the requirements of the EU-wide NIS-2 Directive. It defines comprehensive security measures, organizational processes and technical standards to effectively protect a company's IT systems, data and communication channels from cyber threats.

The aim is to comply with legal requirements, minimize risks and protect sensitive company and customer data. The guideline is aimed at all employees and locations of a company and covers key topics such as

• Security concepts & risk analyses (incl. ISMS and risk assessment)

• Security measures & training (including access controls, MFA)

• Incident management & reporting processes

• Business continuity & crisis management

• Security in the supply chain

• Communication security & encryption

The document is supplemented by further internal references such as the risk register, emergency manual, password guidelines and the crypto concept. The guideline thus forms the foundation for effective, holistic information security management in accordance with NIS 2 legislation.

Die NIS-2 Richtlinie ist ein unternehmensinternes Regelwerk zur Informationssicherheit gemäß den Anforderungen der EU-weiten NIS-2-Richtlinie. Sie definiert umfassende Sicherheitsmaßnahmen, organisatorische Prozesse und technische Standards, um die IT-Systeme, Daten und Kommunikationswege eines Unternehmens effektiv vor Cyber-Bedrohungen zu schützen.

Ziel ist die Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorgaben, die Minimierung von Risiken sowie der Schutz sensibler Unternehmens- und Kundendaten. Die Richtlinie richtet sich an alle Mitarbeiter und Standorte eines Unternehmens und umfasst zentrale Themen wie:

• Sicherheitskonzepte & Risikoanalysen (inkl. ISMS und Risikobewertung)

• Sicherheitsmaßnahmen & Schulungen (u.a. Zugriffskontrollen, MFA)

• Vorfallmanagement & Meldeprozesse

• Business Continuity & Krisenmanagement

• Sicherheit in der Lieferkette

• Kommunikationssicherheit & Verschlüsselung

Ergänzt wird das Dokument durch weiterführende interne Referenzen wie das Risikoregister, Notfallhandbuch, Passwortrichtlinien oder das Kryptokonzept. Die Richtlinie bildet somit das Fundament für ein wirksames, ganzheitliches Informationssicherheitsmanagement im Einklang mit der NIS-2-Gesetzgebung.
